Looking forward to this series! I just finished a study and realize that I am pleased with individual components of the work, but they don’t hang together. The value contrast on one edge pulls the eye out of the image; the color saturation of the trees in the shaded background is confusing against the elements in the sun-lit foreground; and the hard-v-soft edges throughout make the scene chaotic.
Looking forward to the Art Thoughts on the behavior of the elements - This is relatively new thinking to me!
